Two Trees Management’s preliminary agreement to buy the sprawling Domino Sugar factory site on the Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront for over $160 million is far from a done deal, but it is already generating some concern in the surrounding community. As details of the deal are being hashed out with sellers CPC Resources Inc. and its partner, The Katan Group, community leaders are waiting anxiously to see if the new owner will honor the project’s promise of 660 units of affordable housing, 30% of the total proposed units.
