Colorado affordable housing site gets funding on first try

A new affordable housing project in Windsor is a go.  The Windsor Housing Authority, or WHA, has received approval from the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, or CHAFA, to build a new 44-unit multi-family project. CHAFA has awarded the project — to be located in the Windshire subdivision — more than $7 million in tax credits, reserved over the next 10 years, according to a release from the state agency.
