The Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, a self-sustaining quasi-public authority, which has generated more than $13 billion in affordable housing lending since its inception in 1966, seeks a General Counsel.
The General Counsel is the Agency’s chief legal officer, providing advice to its nine-member Board and executive team on a wide range of statutory, regulatory and policy issues impacting the Agency’s mission and business, including the issuance of bonds, the financing of real estate transactions, and corporate governance. The General Counsel manages in-house attorneys as well as the work of outside counsel.
