Awards $4 Million to Affordable Housing Communities in Columbus, Toledo, Village of Lincoln Heights and Defiance

The Board approved $4 million through the Housing Development Loan (HDL) Program to provide flexible, low-interest financing for affordable housing developments across the state. The HDL program provides financial assistance for the development and rehabilitation of affordable housing and is funded through unclaimed funds from the Ohio Department of Commerce. Funding Awards include: 1) $1,000,000 loan to Commons at Livingston II in Columbus, Franklin County; 2) $1,000,000 loan to Legacy Homes in Toledo, Lucas County; 3) $1,000,000 loan to Oak Park Apartments in the Village of Lincoln Heights, Hamilton County; and 4) $1,000,000 loan to Ralston Square Apartments in Defiance, Defiance County.
